Digital Radiography utilizes computer technology to replace traditional radiographs (”x-rays”), which require films and processing. Setting up and taking digital radiographs is much faster than with the old system, which means less stress for your pet. Because the radiographs are immediately available for viewing, your pet’s veterinarian will have instant access to the information needed for prompt diagnosis and treatment of your pet’s medical malady.

The image produced by digital radiography is downloaded directly into your pet’s permanent medical file. Digital radiographs can also be easily e-mailed or sent via computer disk to specialists for consultation or interpretation.
