Kitten Adoption 

At Main Street Veterinary Hospital we believe every pet deserves a loving home. We are committed to doing our part by providing foster care for a limited number of kittens, and occasionally adult cats, while they await the chance for a new home. Most of them were strays or abandoned, or have been rescued from an animal shelter.

Kittens accepted into our adoption program receive the following veterinary services

• Physical examination
• Stool examination for intestinal parasites and deworming if needed
• Blood test for FeLV and FIV (feline leukemia and feline ‘AIDS’)
• Age-appropriate Viral Vaccinations

There is no adoption fee for our foster cats or kittens. All we require is that the adoptive owner prepay for the kitten’s spay or neuter surgery.

We are happy to introduce you to the pets we have available for adoption. Please contact our office if one of them steals your heart.
